About the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering CEME
The premier centre for engineering education in Pakistan is the College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, which provides the top graduate and undergraduate degrees available. The Pakistan Army’s mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment is maintained by the Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME).
On April 1st, 1957, the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers School was founded in Quetta to fulfill the Corps’ training requirements. The school’s facilities were modified regularly to match the quantity and quality of equipment being incorporated into the Army. The School gained enough recognition and experience by 1969 to be renamed the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
